Trained and Qualified in Management Studies and Graduating with Upper Second Class Honours in 1981 at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, and backed by 17 years in the Banking and Private Sectors, she specialized in the Real EstateField, having successfully completed the ROYTEC/AREA Principle of Real Estate Sales Course and placing Second in her class of July 2001.
